Default Anyone elses BC Coilovers crap out?

Im running a set of BCs for just under a year, 8/10 setup, and the fronts feel like they arent doing anything anymore, I turned them up to full stiff and still nothing. The rears feel fine, maybe the spring rate in front should be stiffer. I emailed BC, no reply. I called the tech line, no call back. Im pretty disappointed. Anyone else have the same problem?

Im not super low, its a daily driver, Im on 19s and the fender is basically just at the tire, but I also dont drive the car a lot. maybe 5-6k a year. Im thinking the spring rates are too soft too, I asked the guy at Circuit Motorsports his opinion when I bought them and he suggested 8/10 setup. I emailed him and he told me to contact BC which I did a few times and got no response

I didnt install them, I set the preload before install, but I didnt not set the height, the mechanic did. If it was a mechanic that didnt know what he was doing thats one thing, but I know this guy and hes built a lot of Supras and SCs so Im pretty positive he knows what hes doing.

Ive had my xtreme drop 10k/10ks for over a year now, put about 20-25k on them and they still ride excellent.

Check the shock and see if there is any fluid leaking from them.

I know of FEAL Suspension who can rebuild your BC Coil-overs with premium parts and fluids. Check them out here: http://www.fealsuspension.com/

I think for about $100/shock they make them a lot more reliable.

I would rather put my money towards a proper shock rebuild than to just buy off the shelf cartridges. At least with the Feal, they can build the shocks to your exact specification. For about the same price, it's a no-brainer. It's one thing to have soft spring rates, but it's another if your damper ***** aren't doing anything.

Scary... but since you said "just under a year," wouldn't this be covered under warranty?

I've had my BCs for over 2 years with no problems. It sounds like the preload wasn't set properly.

Well....you're not suppose to touch the pre-load anyways...keep them as they arrived out of the box is my recommendation....and adjust height using the bottom mount only.
