my impression about my GS so far....
guys just wanna share some thoughts and feelings about my GS with current setup....so far i've reached one point that i'd stop modding....(or say slowly modding still.hehehe
i was very very impressed with how my GS handles now and being a daily drivers car. last night on 101North, this one black GS400 tried to race me and we just floored both our cars at about 75mph...well i was a little ahead of hime due to my supra LSD i guess, but then the importance is at the corners i was going like 135mph +.......i know it was very dangerous but then man the car feels soooo stable, sticking to the ground, and the steering was very responsive. i saw the stock GS( i totally think it is stock) kinda shakes pretty hard at corners doing 135mph....and he had to apply a little brake to help with that unbalanced chasis...
im totally not going back to stock setup....after experiencing all the mods and how well GS can handle as being a 3800pb BIG sedan..overal feels like my roommates 330ci SPORT or even better plus my car feels heavier...
BTw my suspension mods are TOMS COILOVERS ADVOX, C-ONE front STB, CUSCO Rear STB, ALL TOMs BRACES AND 6 LINKS PLUS
TRD SWAYS!! THOSE SWAYS and the ADVOX are the KINGS!
guys sorry for long post just thought that wanna share my great feeling about GS....
take care

To say that your GS feels similar to a 330 is quite a compliment!
I am like you in that the GS with a modified suspension is quite joy to drive daily, or pushing it to its limits.
An excellent balance of speed, handling, luxury, grunt, looks, panache, and space.

That's a great write up! I enjoyed it very much.
I have not done as many mods as you, but I felt that I had to do it, since it felt like something was missing all along.
I also have a BMW 330i with sports package and I tell you that it handles and steers tighter than my GS will ever do and if I spent thousands more to emulate the BMW steering and handling by modding my GS, that would be nice, but I'd be out a those thousands of dollars!
I can gripe about this all I want about this issue, but with Lexus offerring no true sports package with their vehicles as a factory option, we have no choice, but to mod our GS cars, since the handling and steering really is unacceptable to the point of being very poor. We all paid a lot of money for the GS and we really expect it to have it all, but at this time it does not.
Maybe the next GEN GS will address all these issues.

Kyle- How is the ride quality with the Advox ? Is it still lexus like ?
I chose the whole Tom's kit . So i have every suspension mod but the TRD sways. I beleive the Tom's kit should suffice for me, if not , i'll just give a call to Steve . I have all the parts in except the coilovers.
Any issues with the install of the coilover ? Or any tips on installing them ?
Thx.
