clunking noise on megan coilovers

Default clunking noise on megan coilovers

hey, i have megan lp coils on my is250 rwd
and i had them for about 5k miles
today, while i was driving it just all of a sudden started to make a clunking noise, and still is
it continually makes the noise while i drive and it is non stop.
anybody know a solution???
please help, i dont want to drive with it like that because i feel unsafe.

Did you ever figure this out?

If not, describe the sound in more detail and I'd be glad to help you.

I have plenty of experience when it comes to diagnosing Megan LP coilover noise :-)

yeah i got it!
but do you happen to know why my rear coils seem like they got really soft and are traveling way farther than they used to? its on full stiff and i have been riding on it full stiff the whole time.

Preload seems to be the first option in the process of elimination.

a little bolt thing under the dampening **** was loose so i just had to tighten it.
