Default BC racing coilover very bouncy or jumpy?

Hey guys I just recently started to notice my bc coilovers have gotten very bouncy/ jumpy. Just driving in locals, it feels like any slight imperfection to the road would make my car start jumping. Is my coilovers broken?

Check Spring pre-load, check your damping settings, tire pressure can be a culprit as well.

if it is bouncy than check your dampening. u probably got it too soft. turn the dial to the right to make it stiffer.

if it isnt your dampening, than check the locking ring. maybe it came loose?

If you have not changed anything dealing with the suspension lately and the shock has just became bouncy on its own, I'd start checking the housing for leaks. Blown shock perhaps? But like what was said above, it could be as simple as different tire pressure or a check in the shock setting.

Are you referring to bounce as if it were a ball going down the street?

Or stiffness?

Sorry for asking such a simple questions but many people get the two confused.

But it doesnt sound like anything is broken, I would just check to make sure nothing has come loose. Should solve your problem right there.

It is definitely bouncy like it's a ball going down the streets. if i were to sit in the passenger seat, even the slightest imperfection on the road would send the car into a frenzy of bounciness, i would constantly bang my head against the head rest.

i have tried setting the coils on maximum stiffness and thats when the bounciness is at it's worse. I have to put the coils on the softest setting in order to eliminate the problem.

Also, my coils make my car feels like it is unbalanced, i get the feeling it would sway left and ride even on a straight road.

Help? i am seriously considering taking my BCRs off now, because even my friends factory suspension feels a lot balanced and comfortable than my BCRs....

Are you running aftermarket wheels with very low profile tires? That can contribute to the stiffness as well. Also get your tires balanced and an alignment

Have you checked the other suspension components as the problem could be worn bushings.
