Default bc extreme drop 14/12

anyone have this SPECIFIC set up and can vouch for stiffness or have any pictures? just ordered some and wondering about how stiff it is.

main concern is RUBBING / bottoming out

I don't have BC's but I'm running Circuit Sport coils with the exact same stiffness (my review thread is only a few threads below). In a nut shell, I ran Tein CS's, Megan EZ's, and now the Circuit Sports and I couldn't be happier with the spring rates. Stiff enough to where you don't clench butt cheek going over road imperfections/rail road crossings, but not too stiff so you can still drive grandma around.

My only concern is different brands of springs are totally different with the coils

Ie 14/12 swift spring is not the same as 14/12 bc sprIngs

I'm running the same spring rate I believe. Its pretty soft for coilovers. Not that stiff shoulda opt for higher spring rates IMO since its free.

Then again I had a 18k/12k on my SC

Well higher spring rate will not compress as much as softer springs which you would want if you are flushed and low. Also higher spring compensate for the cars weight.

SC was heavy and the fronts still compressed like nothing cutting my tires on my frame.

Circuit MS recommend me to run 14/12 as opposed to the usual 12/10 most people get for the extreme drop kit for the 2gs. They've sold a lot of the kits and really know their stuff.

it should be enough for me with the higher dampening, the roads here are pretty smooth. well see how it goes

was the 12 good enough for back for your SC?

i have extreme drop 18/16 on my 2gs. Rides great. Not too stiff, not too soft, I would have preferred something a little stiffer to ride flush or poking.

wheels are 19x9 -4 and 19x11 +6
