bc extreme drop 14/12

I'm about to buy the BR's but now I don't know if I should go with 16/14 or 18/16 or even stiffer?
My setup will propably be flush/poke so it has to be stiff enough to not to f*up the fenders.
Edit: I can choose whatever spring stiffness I like for free when I purchase these coils.

Yes choosing spring rates should be no charge i think its just an extra few weeks to get them because of the custom spring rates... I'd like to get rid of Teins and i'm going back and forth with spring rates also... I think 16/12, 16/14, and 18/16 are a great choice.. I have Tein CS and there bouncy as hell on full stiff dampening.. got a great quote from Karl at SonicMotor..

I was actually about to switch over to the BCs when I was interested in the Platinum VIP cup kit but after seeing how much extra work is necessary to fit them (and the cost), I ended up deciding to go air.

Lowest price I could find is 860€ + shipping. That's about $966.
I'm gonna go with 18/16 then to be sure.

Wait... did you ONLY purchase new springs or did you send the coilovers back to be revalved? If it's the latter, your ride is definitely not going to be as nice as it should. When changing springs, you should never change your spring rate more than +/- 2kg/mm without having the coilovers revalved; it will negatively affect both the comfort and performance of your vehicle.

I've only just put the new coilovers on. They've done about 30 miles. I've already ran over it with BC who have said there should be no issues with the spring change as my dampers are still new.

Yeah. I asked as I read into re-valving dampers to match the spring rates. I was told that because my coilovers are vehicle specific they should be fine using the damping adjustment to get the ride right.
I was asked if the car would be tracked or used as a daily on the roads. As it's just my daily and the dampers are new, they said I shouldn't worry about re-valving....
I think I'm going to call up again and get a second opinion.

Sounds like the dont know what they are talking about or are confused.. with a 6kg spring rate difference you should definitely have them re-valved for the best ride quality (street or track)

Sooo.. I must be dumb to expect that I get the camber adjustments with the BR coils.
What exactly did I pay extra for compared to the V1 model?
It's updated model yes, but how exactly?

I've had the BR's for a while now and now that I got my wheels on and lowered it I noticed that the springs are way too soft.
I have 18/16 and the rears rub every now and then. I've got the fenders rolled and that did reduce the rubbing a bit.
I can't understand how some of you can run "slammed" and still be satisfied with the springs stiffness.
I have the adjusting **** turned all the way to 30 on each corner and even that didn't help.
Am I doing something wrong?

Are your wheels still sticking out as much as they previously were? If so, then unless you have some extremely stiff springs, it'll still rub since the fender is contacting the wheel when it compresses.
