Default TRD springs?

Does anyone have these? How much is the drop. I was wondering. I have all this TRD stuff now, so I was wondering what about the springs.

I have the TRD springs...and the Shocks....however...I have noticed one thing with the "TRD" springs...they are actually the same as the Eibach springs...I have talked to different shops around the Chicago area and they too have confirmed that the Eibach springs are the same as the TRD ones...just some food for thought...

Kris, you info is interesting, and don't take this the wrong way, but how would they know?

I mean, proof positive would be either TRD or Eiback confirming this, or seeing an Eibach designation onthe springs, right?

This is a great question...however....to backup my comment on this I have also talked to the Lexus delear on this subject...as we are all aware of a little company called L-Tuned, they sold shocks and springs...the tech, and the parts manager have all confirmed this with me...that the TRD springs are Eibach....it is no different than RMM taking the Supra callipars and putting Rod Millen on them...-or-....even different body kit companys that have the exact body kit only it is not the name brand it is a "knock off"...see what these companys do is they sell the rights to the products -or- in the case of the bodykits...the molds....to other companys and this is how they make their money...by selling the rights....most of the products that are out there are actually made by a different company, but they have sold they patten -or- given the company xyz permission to put their name on it....in the long run both companies make out....

So TRD/L-tuned/Eibachs are the same. Ain't that something. Though as TRDGS3 stated, this has been a practice for years with the larger companies.

However, ain't the 1.4 inch drop in the front a lot lower than the 1" of the L-tuned?

Yep; I understand the concept of licensing; I deal with clinical lab equipment where the same unit can have 5 different manufacturers.

But just someone looking at it and saying yep, these are the same... I have a difficult time buying.

I agree with you though; I bet they are the same.

based on the fact that the Eibach and TRD springs(the one for NA model, not jzs161 turbo) has almost similar drop, and all the springs out there has more drop, i would not be surprised if the TRD NA springs are the same as the eibachs...

BUT, TRD NA spring does have slightly different spring rate to that of eibachs

the again, this is my "conclusion" based on few facts, not 100% sure.
