Which brand should I go for if I need to replace the up and lower control arm, I look on ebay the brand they have for is Dorman and I saw they selling seperate for the bushing, but not the ball joint

Are your ball joints bad? Torn boots? If so the cheapest route is Supra LCAa and UCAs...although your UCAs may be fine. If the ball joints are fine, you can replace them with Prothane bushings from jegs.com for pretty cheap...although they may get squeaky. Spend some time searching and youll find plenty to read.

I got my Supra LCAs from Carson Toyota. I was told by them the UCA's were different and will not work.

Here's what influenced my decision
You will spend the same amount of money if you are going the bushing route. Unless you feel comfortable doing it yourself. There is a lot of time involved getting out the old bushings. If you are paying a shop to do this...consider the down time on a lift.

Look at my adventure when i had to do to get my lower control arm out.
Good thing i had planned on replacing the whole thing, instead of torching the old ones out, buying bushings,and then pressing them in.

Carson Toyota wants $261 for each new front lower control arm and $201 for each rear lower control arm.

Ebay wants $600 for the front LCA's which aren't OEM.

Personally I'd rather go with OEM which is cheaper anyways. We're not allowed to post other site links but do a search for Carson Toyota Parts and search for Supra suspension parts.

So, you guy saying the toyota supra parts will fit the 1995 sc300?
But what year for the toyota supra are we talking?

if you do the work on your own car,

you can always go to the local yard and see if any sc300s/400s in the yard have good arms that dont have cracks or anything. this is only suggested if your planning on replacing bushings and you have a bad arm, because most all of the bushings you will find in a salvage yard are toast. I personally have cracked arms, (I found a receipt type of thing from the previous owner that says it), so I will be getting some from the yard and using prothane where I can and OEM bushings where prothane doesnt make them.

If I remember correctly only the front LCA from the supra is usable on a SC, but it has been a while since I looked into this.
