Time to lower my Sc300.

I have money but don't know which coilover system to get. Looking at spending close to $2,000 for a coilover system.

The Rims I have are 18'' Gram Lights. The Tires I have on are 235/40Z/R18.

I would like the ability to lower and raise it pretty far. I may look into paying someone to do a fender roll if needed to be. I am sure, if I switch out the stock shocks/springs for a coilover system and lower it, I will definitely rub my tires. With that said, anyone recommend a coilover system that is pretty much close to stock riding comfort but with the aggressive lowering look. This is a daily driven car, and my town has alot of pot holes. ALOT.

My vote would be Tein Comfort Sport coilovers, or the KW Variant 3. Please note I have not driven on either of these on the SC chassis, but were very comfortable coilovers on other cars I have driven with them installed.

However neither of these have independent height adjustment, so depending on how low you want to go, they may or may not work out for you.

The KW's and Comfort sports won't lower it really low like the OP wants.

You'll want a Dual height adjustable system for that, like a BC Racing kit, or the Tein Monoflex, etc.

This! My friend has BC's and Im on K-sport. I thought about selling my K-sports to switch to BC. Put the other $1k towards something man, I promise you'll be happy with BC's.

KW's and HKS Hipermax III's are well within your budget. I prefer ride quality over driving only on flat roads.

Yes i agree. I daily my SC and the BCs are a great option for comfort or go stiffer if you need to. And I don't just drive on flat roads. I have KW V3s on my IS-F, so I know what to compare my BCs to.
