Do you guys know if anyone makes Aftermarket Rear UCA's. OEMS are around $700 each if I remember correctly.

There are a few companies that make them; ikeya, studio, etc. I think megan racing makes them as well.

The rear is300 arms look similar to the gs arms, if someone can get hold of an is3 arm and a 2nd gen gs arm and compare it would be great.

If someone can get me an is300 arm I'll fork out the money to get a gs2 arm.

2 GS Rear Suspension

1 IS Rear Suspension

Suspensions of the GS and IS 300 look pretty much identical. FIGS designs parts for both cars, I wonder if he knows anything about interchangeability of parts between these 2 vehicles.

UCA for the 2 GS is $721.50
UCA for the 1 IS is $269.84

Huge difference for what appear to be extremely similar parts.

I think the 1 is arms aren't solid i.e. theyre hollow and the 2gs arms are made of thick solid metal.

If the arms are the same then this will open up some more adjustable arms for the 2gs as the 2is has some more parts that we can use/already use.

Dont mean to revive an old thread, but has anyone figured out if the is300 arms fit the 2nd gen gs? Any other options for ruca for our cars?

Someone on my.is posted that the arms are exactly the same except that the gs ones are all aluminum and the is300 ones are not...hmm

I have examples of both and have compared them. I can probably pull both arms out of a box and measure. I know the IS300 people believe they're interchangeable.

I have this same issue and the mechanic figured out it has a good chance of being the headlight level sensors which is only on the driver side rear and front. The rear squeaks and the front pops and knocks. Go check the rear guarantee is squeaks when you wiggle it up and down. Because the rear control arms don't have any play and they shouldn't squeak when you think about it.

You know the rear knuckle has a balljoint in that connects to the lower rear control arm? They go bad at 100K miles too. Just something worth checking. When they get loose, you get noise.

I agree with your comment though, it's unlikely the control arm is causing this noise. If the sway bar bushings are poly you can get noises like this too.

I can almost guarantee jimpman23 his issue is the headlight sensor since he said driver side only that's the side the sensor is on and the rear one squeaks just like
Mine and only 430s have it with stock HID.
