Default OK, I'll admit it...

I bought a set of front rotors from them, drilled and slotted. Got some greenstuff pads locally.

Improved braking but two problems. First, they were not true when delivered, had to have them cut. One I had to make three light passes on it to get a full circumference cut. Second, they are louder than stock, although this may be because I am using EBC green pads which they suggested against using. They suggested AXIS Metallic pads and not Kevlar (EBC). Didn't ask why, just ignored them, so....

Overall, happy with them mainly because my old rotors had gotten too thin and were warping every 4 months and these have not so far with just under 10K on them.

Noticably less brake fade (none) after repeated 70 to 0 stops for 30-40 minutes on a stretch of road I travel.

I paid 129 for the pair, and 89 for pads.

Hey Nudder,

You only replaced the front 2 rotors, right? Are you using stock rotors in back? I have heard really good things about these "Brembo" type rotors. I forget the name of them... Have you had any other aftermarket rotors before?

goto www.groupbuycenter.com and I think they have a group buy going on with them. I think I have seen them on Ebay too.

When my rotors wear, I might give these a try since they are located down the street from me.

Default Other rotors

LVgs400 - the last time I put some aftermarket rotors was on an old SHO some years ago. Loved the difference. They were Brembo or Bradi. Stock calipers. Kept the stock rotors in back, but will match em when they warp, if ever, or when I put some wheels on on it that let you see the rotors so they match. I am running stock 16s now.

Thumbs up iRotors is cool

i got all 4 rotors and i'm pretty happy with them. Only thing I would suggest folks to do is to paint the rotors. (not surface but the surrounding areas) before you put them on. Mine ended up really rusting after 2 weeks. The rust was so bad, after i washed the car, there would be rust on leaking thru my lug nuts. I ended up painting them already mounted on my car. If I had to do it again, I would have done the group buy with SteveGanz. It wasn't that much more plus they were cad plated.
