f-sport springs with 20's
i am going to have my local dealer install an f-sport exhaust and f-sport springs , so i can lower it an inch. do you think that my current tire size 235/35/20 (rims are 20x8.5) will rub anywhere?
it previously rubbed in the front but i heated the plastic and all was well after that, no more rubbing. do you guys think that after the drop with the f-sport springs it will rub the fenders or anywhere.

but will it at least drop 1 inch? im only after a small drop. im not after that low low look! i just need a small lower look to it, hence the 1 inch drop.

On F-Sports I would recommend rolling on 19's. If you're set on 20's, you'll have to tuck them more to make it look like it's lowered. Maybe you should look into road magnets.

what is tucking? and wouldnt f sport springs lower the car at least an inch? i am just after closing the gap between wheel and fender , not lower to the ground. thanks

F-Sports do lower your car; however, our cars sit higher on 20's than 19's. You will effectively get rid of most of the gap, but your car won't seem much lower than stock. Although, judging by your response that doesn't seem to be an issue, so have them installed and enjoy your ride!

measure your car from the ground to the fender I am on 19" wheels 225 in the front im at 26 inches from the ground but my springs probably havent settled yet (installed last week) on my 19s there is no real visable fender gap from most angles...Im happy with it, I dont think you will rub

why not? i have 235/35/20. why wouldnt changing factory springs to f-sport spings close the gap at least an inch (which is all i need and want) to do the trick? i want at least some gap but not the 2.5 inch gap i currently have.

I understand where your coming from and also what everyone is saying. You want to close gap and what were saying is even if you close gap you'll still look stock height since the 20's are obviously bigger. Since your not after height, just looking to ger rid of some gap I say go for it. Most likely you will have to modify your liner a little more. I suggest posting in the "will it fit thread" if your worried about clearance.
