Default Getting rid of Rubbing

Just share ways you've managed to prevent rubbing as much or none at all, whether you streched tires or removed fender liners or ect.

Well, Since I haven't relocated my wiring harness and have my car slammed...I put sheet metal underneath the wheel wells and so far, the rubbing hasn't been so bad every time my car bottoms out.

Rolled rear fenders and a slight pull. Tucked harnesses and rolled front fenders.

Think Vihn mentioned he did the same thing, how did you go about doing that, what did you use to secure the sheetmetal? All good suggestions guys

well, relocate your harness, trim the tops out of your fender liner, roll or pull your fenders as needed, or stretch your tire. thats pretty much all you need to do. it all depends on your set up. do one or do all. its not rocket science.

I'd like to eliminate rubbing in the front while turning. I have 18x8 30 offset with 225/45/18. I know where the tire is rubbing. I want to hammer in those areas but before I do that, I would like to know if I will be damaging anything other than the chassis.

As far as the wire harness, take the time to do it the right way and relocate it. The sheet metal way has been shown not to work. The wires will get hot from the rubbing and create a nightmare, people have posted pics before. It only takes about an hour, not sure why people refuse to just do it the right way one time.

Relocating the harness takes less than an hour.

20 minutes or less if your compitent. Unplug from inside the car, feed out, tape, feed back in.

But that isn't a solution to rubbing. A big god damn hammer is.
