Upcoming FIGS GS Parts, By order of Importance.....
So I know Fig's is busy with alot of other tasks, but he has a few much needed products in development for our cars and some for over a year now, so I was wondering if we could help him prioritize what most people would like see release first/next..
In my eyes the Spherical Bushing replacement for the front lower tension arm would be the most needed for the largest group of people. As these arms even with daizen poly inserts wear fast, are under a lot stress when lowered, are the cause of some peoples vibrations, and don't hold alignments very long.
The complete replacement arm is excellent, as it will allow length adjustment as well, but for the largest number of people the bushing itself is the most critical.
Next up in my eyes are the front upper arms, IF the angle of the ball joint helps to eliminate the banging into the shock tower when on coilovers these would make a lot of people quite happy.
Lower front arms, would be great, mainly to allow additional camber adjust but otherwise a bit lower on the list.
The Hi-Steer knuckle/rca/lower ball joint combo piece, the steering angle change is welcome, but the best part about these would be the use of a press in moog ball joint instead of the one piece oem style.
These were slated for 2001, but I don't believe they are available yet.

So my opinion is the community would benefit greatly if Figs could gets us these parts in production soon. There are a few Japanese equivalents to source these from, but the dollar-to-yen has only gotten worse and the prices are soaring out of reach of many GS owners.

been in contact with Mike the past few days about the caster spherical bearing!
I know he is working on one for me for the 01-05. and I will be doing a write up with tons of pictures.
This is one of the first things i wanted when I saw how the stock bushing is. I have all spherical bearing bushings in my race car and the GS really needs it.

my main priority is the

Personally I have very bad OEM caster arm bushing and my UCA joints are finished.
I'll most likely be forced to buy sooner elsewhere as I don't see any planned finish dates for these products and my car is daily driven.

Well after 9 votes 6 (2/3 = 66%) are for caster arm spherical bushings if we combine those that want adjustibality with those that don't. For the ease of install I would prefer an entire arm assembly and this would satisify those that just want better bushings.
Personally I have very bad OEM caster arm bushing and my UCA joints are finished.

Just to clarfiy what exactly you purchased. Are you reffering to just the spherical bushings or the whole caster arm with a spherical bushing installed (pressed in)?

i designed a fuel pickup for the denso1020 pump so you dont need to run double walbros wander if he would be interested in it since it would fit the IS cars as well. i have a 3d model in solid works all done.

HI guys, just chiming in. We have had the spherical bearing testing for the past 6 months or so and no negative results. I am sending one to Brian and Mike to get more data and hopefully release after I get their feedback on the install. Also we will be carrying a Poly bushing that will blow you away when compared to the crap that has been offered to you guys in the past. Its a true rocking poly bearing that is multipiece. Check the IS300 version that is on the site right now for details.
Anyway, update when I can , still moving shops and getting power to my machines so I can continue making more stuff.

Looks as if the new body Camaro guys are having similar issues with their caster arms. As they have an aftermarket similar replacement.
Nice to see multiple options to be on the way from Figs. The Urethane IS300 version does look nice..
But personally because of the severe angle that the radius arm is in once the car is lowered considerably I definably prefer this style:
