Wait what! I moved the bottom ring and adjusted the top collar. Is that how it's done? :O

I got confused too. I Loose the bottom ring and turn the 2 in the top at the same time that way i dont change my preload. I think im doing it right.

Just adjust the height to where you need it at the lower collar and you should be fine
Any Ideas on what could cause that. Cause IMO i think an inch is way too much difference.

Yeah. I was playing around with my rear coils and one side always sits differently regardless. I finally got it close enough and gave up. :P

Default Preload

I was messing aroun with my preload... Where should the preload sit? Do I just put it tight to the spring and that should reset them?

I installed my coilovers and there is clunking noise coming from the suspension. Anyone know what this could be?

You should fix that cause your car is going to ride uneven this is not good for breaking and accelerating. It throws the whole far off balance. Not to mention it doesn't look proper.

I dumped my **** even more yesterday. 1.5 finger gap from fender to rim in the front, 1/2 a finger from fender to rim in the rear. The rear right is always lower though. I adjusted it by making it three threads taller than the left side. So for me, in the rear, I have about 12 threads left before it is completely maxed out. I did 12 on the rear driver side, and 15 on the rear passenger side. That way, both sides sit even. :P

It took me a bit to get my car even at all 4 corners. You need to remember that if you lower the driver front it will raise the passenger rear and vise versa. I still dealing with some rubbing issues
