15lbs? I wish it was only 15lbs. I bet I have more than 15lbs in wiring! But yes, it does help it ride a little bit lower than it would otherwise. Thanks!

I paid $220 for the springs from Sewell ($240 shipped) and put them in with the help of a friend. It was tough, but we got it done in half a day. Thanks for the compliments!

car looks very good for the price. I was aiming for the front to be a TINY bit lower then the back. I guess the only way I could do that would be coilovers? I am interested in the F sports also but want less gap in the front.

How is the ride quality VS. Stock?? i want to lower my car a bit but don't want to compromise the ride quality and make it feel every bump or crack in the road.

its a shared car between my wife and i and if i do anything too aggressive she probably won't like it.

have you noticed any clunking or odd noises??

Thanks

Sorry for the late reply....... Ride comfort is exactly the same as the stock springs. With the slightly lower center of gravity, it does feel a little tighter in corners which is a plus. It isn't bumpy or rigid when driving, and I haven't had any clunking noises yet. Absolutely love these springs!

Do you have the F-Sport Sway Bars too? I'm gonna order the springs and I hear that the sway bars are a must mod. Don't know which to do first though.

F Sport spings on stock shocks, yes. I haven't done the sway bars yet. I expect it depends on what you want the most (first). The sway bars will make a bigger difference in the handling of the car. The springs make the difference in the stance and the overall look of the car. I plan to add the sway bars, just not to that yet. I did a Tanabe axle back install and still have to pony up for mid pipes. That will be my next purchase, and probably the sway bars next.

Hey slammer or anyone, I was considering doing the f sport springs with the oem shocks. I have about 40k on my 08 is250. Do you think the shocks will last or should I just go with the f sport shocks too? Help! Thanks.

Worst case scenario, your factory shocks will wear at a slightly faster rate than they would with the factory springs. Given that the typical shock isn't good for 100k miles, and you already have 40k on yours, I would just do the springs. My shocks were fine, so I saw no reason to drop $600 on the F Sport shocks. The adjusted collapsed and extended length of the F Sport shocks makes them "work" with the F Sport springs, but my factory shocks have yet to bottom out since my install. If you think you need new shocks (doubt it at 40k) then go ahead and do both at the same time. Otherwise, springs alone should be fine.

Very nice mate!
I was thinking about doing the exact same thing but dropping it about 1.5inches!
Do you think it would be safe?
And how is the drive? Is it much different from stock?
I was going to do it until I got quoted almost 800$ to get it installed on my car.
I am quite a newbie

Question Price go up on springs?

Anyone add these springs to a IS350C that can comment on what the lower amount was and also any effect on ride quality?

It looks like they are $299? Do they go on sale from time to time?
