for the price that lexus or sewell selling it for, i would rather get aftermarket one like hawks, endless, akebono or street performance pads instead. there is a vendor here sells very decent set of pads for less than a $100 and is very low on dust and no worry about the front wheels getting dirty after a car wash.

Ok, this is a bit weird... for the 250, they certainly do mention which is low dust-

IS250-
http://is.sewellparts.com/accessorie...2006/1885.html

Shows both the low dust and regular, you just click the button for which you want.

The 350 page used to be just like that, but now it's not-
http://is.sewellparts.com/accessorie...2008/1886.html

This thread suggests what might be going on though-
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...-pad-part.html

0446530450 is the part # for the pad Sewell is selling at that link for the 350

With Sewell's clublexus discount (but before shipping) the price of the Lexus OEM brake pads isn't too bad for my 2008 IS 350:

Brakes: Front Brake Pads-Front Brake Pads
Part #: 0446530450 (In Stock)
$128.82 $78.58 $78.58

Brakes: Rear Brake Pads-Lexus Rear Brake Pads
Part #: 0446622190 (In Stock)
$78.06 $47.62 $47.62

What's killing me is the cost to replace all four rotors. That's what was said was needed sometime a couple months ago. that's $450ish not counting shipping.

I'm going to get a second opinion if all my rotors need to be changed or not. If so, Maybe there's a cheaper (better?) aftermarket rotor replacement solution versus OEM.

I'm at 50k+ miles and my car was bought almost 3 years ago.

Don't want to start a new thread for my question so I want to ask here.

I'm looking for low dust oem brake pads for my 2011 Lexus IS250. I have the F Sport and the rims are caked in dust within 2-3 days.

I have searched through club lexus on this topic extensively but all the references are for 06-08 models. Anyone can point me the right direction?

Sewells low dust brake pads for 2006-2008 = 0446553030
Sewells brake pads for 2009-2013 = 0446530340

(Obviously different part numbers)

Thanks,
Zel

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but for the 2011 there are no regular or low dust pads. If I remember correctly they are only low dust.

Hi lysis250,

I hope that is not true because it is dusting like crazy for me. I'm not sure if it is because I have the F-Sport version.

Fronts : http://is.sewellparts.com/accessorie...2011/4944.html
Rears : http://is.sewellparts.com/accessorie...2011/1889.html

Looks like only the fronts have the two options (normal and low dust)

Canadian cars kept using the same pads all the way to 2013.
US cars started using the low-dust pads from the factory in 2009.

US-spec IS250's and Canada-spec IS250's after 2009 do not use the same pads. If you want low-dust pads for your 2011 Canadian-spec IS250, order the 2006-2008 low-dust version from Sewell.
