New Brembo Brake Package....
Well folks, it's finally been done...almost...
We are underway in developing a complete front brake package for the GS/SC/LS. Four Piston Brembo caliper, 13" directionally vented 2-piece rotors (Cross Drilled and/or Slotted), Stainless Steel Brake Lines, Street Compound Pad (with many other pad choices on the market) and a custom CNC'd bracket...all for under $2000...we are currently sourcing the parts to try to get the price even lower...
Basically, we will be offering the $2995 Brembo package for more than $1000 less...ok, so you won't get the pretty Brembo box..
At any rate, we have test fitted the setup and here's the biggest news....
IT FITS BEHIND THE STOCK 17" WHEELS. Yes boys and girls, you heard that right. We have engineered this system (with a LOT of help for a race car builder) to work with the stock wheels. So most aftermarket wheels should also clear it (but if you have some crap like Konigs, you're on your own!)
Another nice feature of this setup is that if you ever get a flat on your front wheel, you can just use a spare 17" GS wheel...
Once we get the system ready for sale, we will disclose all the details...for now, just know that it will be a high quality system for a low price. As soon as the first two prototypes are done, they will be tested on a GS400 and a SC400...I will be tracking the SC400 with the brakes so they will get more then their fair share of punishment. Anyone who tracks their car knows what kind of a beating the brake system takes...NOTHING on the street is even close. We will also be doing "real world" road test...I have a few choice canyons I'll be visiting...
Anyways, here are some photos from our test fitting session...

Very very cool. Congrats Manaray. I sure hope this all works out. Looks like a winner. I'm definitely interested, but just so you know, I'm also interested in PearlPower's Wilwood package.
I believe you, but I don't get how 13" rotors and calipers can fit behind the 17" rims - aren't the stock rotors about 11.5"??

The AP Racing setup is for people who want the best. The price in that group buy is INCREDIBLE. They are AWESOME brakes. I know because I have them (and yes, they are staying on the GS!).
Our package is more for the people who are looking at the Supra TT package but want something more or for people who were looking at the Brembo package but wanted an INCREDIBLE price. It is also for people who already have wheels w/o traditional big brake clearance or for those who have stock 17" and they don't want to upgrade their wheels (this will also allow people to get lower offset wheels so they can have more lip). It's not quite the same customer as the AP package.
Bit - Well you saw the pictures...those are NOT Photochopped pictures...you can see they fit....when they are release, I will go into more detail about HOW we did it...
Ok folks, thanks for the interest. I'm closing this thread off because we know we have the interest...I will post more finalized details next week or the week after. If you want to ask me more info, email me at GS430@mac.com
