Default Sportivo = TRD?

Is the item below the same as a TRD sway bar set?

==> PN 48800-JSZ00 Sportivo Stabilizer Bar Set

It's being sold brand new for $440, shipping extra. Comments are appreciated.

hey white..i cheked this with steve a while back. the one you listed is the "street" verison, much more mild.

the one that 99% of cl guys have are the blue race version, list at steve's site for $580(solid core and beefier). hence the price difference.

btw, thanks for the pm.

Hey GS4Wil,

You're right- I've seen the blue being used by most CL guys. The sportivo was listed as new for 2003, and has a hollow core. Well, looks like blue is the way to go.

Let me change topic and pick your brain. I noticed that you are using L-tuned shocks on your JDM springs. If you used Bilstein sports instead, what do you think would have changed in terms of ride characterics?

Thanks MUCH

the bilsteins have much higher damping rate(as shown by manaray's post in this section), so the ride will be even firmer(to some, may be stiffer)...my thought is that if you plan to get the trd sways, stay with L-tuned shocks. as we have different tolerance on ride quality, and we all try to seek that balance on handling and ride quality, that is where my bu2t draw the line... again, based on my personal preference
