I don't feel like it makes much of a difference with my rubbing. Just when I'm take banked turns. Only time it runs is quick dips.

I’m not happy about mine. The car bounces a lot and my car sounds like an old car going over train tracks. Guess I should have done some reviews before I bought them but Megan been a top brand I decided not to. Lately I have been thinking about getting rid of them for something better. It will give u a nice drop and that’s it. Also the springs are too soft, not stiff enough. I think BC, function or D2 would have been a better purchase or just some H&R Springs. Here are some pics with the old color and new color

Man, the reviews on these are so terribly spotty.

Here is what I'm looking for: I want to drop my car-but not slam it.
I want the ride quality to be good, not super bumpy or stiff.
I don't want a ton of noise from the suspension as I spend most of the time INSIDE my car, not admiring it from the outside.

Will the Megan's accomplish this? I'm not going to be racing my AWD 250 after all, I just want it to look good, but still handle well.

spend a little more money for the next one up on megans. megans coils are stiffer so if you are looking for comfort, megans is not for you. i've also heard that megans and bc are manufacture by the same company and they have exactly identical internal parts

Stiffer than what what? Megan's are soft, not harsh at all. When you slam them they get a little rougher but not too bad. If you want a decent ride when you're moderately lowered, these are for you.

ive gone through all megan/ BC threads. the reviews are scattered. Some have really bad experience while others have better luck .

Im pretty much torn between the megan LP/street & BC BR series.

Ill never track my car....i just want that gap gone. Ill get my 19's in the future.

I want to know if it is worth it for me to spend the extra $$$ and get the BC coils or get the megan street or megan LP ?

I plan to sell my car in the next 30- 40K miles.

After having these for a month or so I can say they are definitely worth the money.
If your lowered but not slammed they feel OEM
If your slammed even with 10/8 their stiff enough, though 12s probably better.

All in all good buy if you don't track your car.
so what if you "do" track your car???

I would recommend you get BC's with a 16/14 or 18/16 spring rate. The other options are Zeal and KW but those cost over 2K

You can, just won't perform as well as higher spring rate coilovers. With the Megans, you'll have body roll etc since the spring rates are so soft

Where did you find Megan EZ with 12/10 for the IS...everyone I know have 10/8
and for the BC i wouldn't recommend 14/10 unless running agressive...I would suggest 12/10 for a smoother feel
