hey guys and gals got a 99 gs300 and i jus got thru putting in a amp for the door speakers,the previous owner had already bypassed stock amp all i had to do was install power,remote,and rca... i ran it on the pass side door jam under carpet... I started the car today and an annoying continuous beep came on and deosnt stop then noticed the brake light on instrument panel was on also...(after releasing the brake) then rolled forward and noticed the brake pedal had to be pressed extra hard to stop


please help i need my car dont have a second car to get around in.... any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated

rylee....first off, check your brake fluid...make sure its filled to MAX level.

Next, check your brake pads...enough life on them?

Finally, do a brake flush...there might be air in your brake lines.

If its still hard, then consider having the calipers rebuilt.
