I know AutoPower makes some bolt-in cages and I think they have a weld-in option too if I remember correctly. Not sure about legality and such though. Check them out.

Those cages aren't NSRA legal cages.

I need one that guarantees that if i roll the car at 130mph i will live

No cage manufacturer can guarantee something like that.....but if you want a proper cage then you may want to start searching locally for fabricators that build drag cars or tube chassis type stuff. It's gonna be pricey to do a nice cage though.

Jegs sells weld in cages mostly for drag and circle track use. a bolt in cage wont be as strong as a welded in cage. your best bet is to have a modified 12 pt cage.

i hear what ur saying, and it does sound important, but like said above no cage will gaurentee that. the objective is not to crash! lol.

really though u can buy the best cage in the world and if the *** that welds it for u isnt good then... u know. get a pro to do it for u. gl

TIG welder, an DOM chromoly tubing will meet any safety regulation.

I recommend the Chinese DC TIG welders on Ebay.

Why would I do such a thing?

Cause I have run one for the last three years, they work great, and you don't have to shell out a grand or better.

$399 Plasma cuter, Stick welder, and DC Hi-frequency TIG all in one.

ok i wasnt serious about the 130 on the roof thing, it was the fact that the road race cages arent made for high speeds,

A friend of mine is going to tig weld the cage in for me, he just wanted me to find him a chromoly cage that he doesnt have to do alot of modifications to. Another friend bought some frame rails from S&W and they were TERRIBLE. like the bends werent straight and they used crush bends instead of mandural bends.

Also i heard that S&W doesnt have uniform thicknesses in their wall thickness at the bends.
Im not getting a bolt in anymore that ship sailed. i wanna build the car to run a 9.99, dont know if it will but just incase
