Supra TT Brakes + 2GS OEM Wheels = Spacer size?

Been searching through all the threads but I can't find the exact answer to the very simple question:
On a 2GS, what size spacer does one need to run 2GS 17" OEM wheels with Supra TT front calipers/rotors?
That is all. thanks and apologies in advance if searching and browsing 20 threads and pages wasn't enough!

Also- OP...NICE "GOLD" GS ! My same exact car, except my 430 is an '01.
nice CHROME 17's, too! (a must for the '98-'02 V8 GS's, no doubt : )

Do you have the Supra brakes installed on your car ?
If so, are you using 15mm spacers or "ADAPTERS" (which are expensive)
I was hoping I could get away with 10mm spacers...and the factory studs. Anybody care to enlighten me?
HOPEFULLY my Gianna "ROYALE" 20's, which are 20 x 8.5... 40mm offset ? clear the calipers though. Guess I'll just have to bolt one on, once the new (either Supra TT or LS400) brakes are installed up front.

you don't HAVE to run adapters, i had h&R 15mm spacers w/ supra tt brakes for 6 yrs until i sold the car.. drove great.. 10mm wont work.. 15mm was soo close as is

If the car is dropped over 2.5 or 3", even the stock 17" wheels will probably hit the fenders when the car goes over bumps, huh?? OR if there enough camber that they will clear, even with 20mm adapters??? What do you think?
Also- where did you by the H&R spacers, and did you re-stud every corner?

the 15mm did good with it lowered low.. use a 235.. i had a 245 with very minor rub at first but never again.. i bought the spacers off ebay a long time ago. yes i re-studded the fronts but the rear i put a 25mm that has built in studs. after 20mm they use built in studs.. 2mm or whatever the smallest is they give u studs.. maybe after 5mm they give u studs that you have to install up to 20mm..
I am running 245's all around.. once it's lowered (A LOT) do you think the tires WILL rub ?

Yea as long as the dimension on the ls400 brakes r similar then it will fit. I used the Supra TT caliper. With 245's you might rub a lil if you go very low but nothing bad.. you may wanna consider 235's as a option you might have to resort to if you go VERY low. Hope this helps!

Too much work to hammer out your old studs and install extended. Plus if you ever decide to buy proper fitting wheels you'll have to run open ended lug nuts and have the studs come out of them 10-15mm.... bolt on a 15mm adapter and be done with it, easily reversible, easy install, less headache.

To each his own.. wasnt hard, took me 45min both sides.. and i had 20mm b4 in the rear and pulled out those studs and put my oem back in.. yes i kno they say u shouldnt, ive never had an issue doing it.. but my point is that its not hard at all and isnt a piggy back stud. If i did it again, thats how ill do it.
