Default Pic of custom hoses

Pic of custom stainless steel hoses.
These are not generic Supra hoses, but custom made specifically for this application.

Default update

Jmai22,

No ,those are chrome. The angle and lighting give the black opal look.

For all,

What is left?

Final brake adapter machining and stress testing.
Looking to do at least 2000 miles of hard braking to check out the system.
Specs on 60-0 braking will follow in a few weeks once the brakes are broken in.

Thank you Will for your kind words

Lee

Great looking brakes. Nice that they fit behind the stock wheels too! That sure opens up options for aftermarket wheels when you don't have to worry about getting a hi-disk wheel to clear your big brakes, you can get much bigger lips on your fronts

MMMM - looks very good.

What color are the calipers?
Is this the GB set, sans the lines?

More Pics Please?

My wallet is twitching...

Lookin' real good Pearl... can't wait to hear a full report on feel before/after, performance, etc.

Also, since these calipers are small, isn't it likely they're quite a bit lighter than the Supra 'big brakes'?

My only concerns are durability and that the brakes don't vibrate or get easily warped.

You are using the stock size rotors, aren't you?
Do they have the setup for bigger rotors with the same 4 pot calipers?

Default I share

I share the same questions with this setup. Good or bad ,the numbers will be published.
Some benefits of this setup even with stock rotors:
Reduced drag since the caliper is a monoblock design and not the 2 piece floating caliper that binds often and drags on the rotors producing heat, noise, and dust.
Much greater clamping force.
Very light design reducing upsprung weight improving handling.
Considerably lighter than the Supra calipers which are tanks.

Calipers are gloss back with "wilwood" etched in the aluminum for durability.
Very sexy design.

A group buy if any would include calipers, pads, special SS lines, line/caliper adapters, and adapters.
Stock OEM and SS Supra hoses will not work with this setup due to the thread design. These custom hoses are about 2 inches longer than the other ones on the market which have had stretching issues in turns. These are also designed for this caliper setup.

Of course the proof will be in the testing.

A 6 piston version with larger rotors will be in the works. The Supra TT rotors are only slightly larger than the stock GS rotors, so the benefit would be very minimal . I am looking into larger 14" rotor designs for this application .18" wheels would be required for this setup.
The 6 piston setup is more compact that the Supra 4 piston setup, so wheels options should be plentiful

Very nice! Some sort of template to check clearance on aftermarket rims would be helpful. I'm hoping the 6 piston will fit under my Volks.
