Default can you put a "lexus" decal on the brake caliper for 1998 GS

Hey guys,
Im never lurking on the GS forums until my father in law just bought a 98 GS. he has asked me to do some stuff to it to make it look more pleasing. i just ordered G2 brake caliper paint to repaint and i figure while im at that without seeing the actual caliper in person, my question is. is it even wide enough so that a lexus sticker will fit on the caliper. just thought i double check with other owners before i order a $10 sticker for nothing.

thanks in advance

Plenty of room, the ones with a slight curve to them tend to look a little better since the follow the natural curve of the caliper.

+1 for http://www.motogfx.com/lexus/ I got my calipers painted black and went with the white curved Lexus decals in front and the L decals in the back. They are the IS300 decals.

I am tempted to do this. I will be painting my calipers black and some white decals would be nice.

But how do these decals hold up to the heat and dirt?

I put on a coat of glossy black, applied the stickers, and then finished the caliper with a clear coat. 2 years later and the stickers still look perfect

This where I got my decals. I did white letters and black G2 paint and then covered everything with HI Temp clear. Came out great!

If you need more you can search the 2GS forum for "Caliper Decal" or "Caliper paint" you will find LOTS of pics.
