quick update....so far no issues at all. ride qualtity has been as good as the day these were installed.i am also running a pretty conservative drop and softer dampering. on really cold days i get an occasional clunk in the rear but i have noticed its only on really cold days. i had the same issue with the tanabe coils on my rsx. in the next couple of weeks going to rotate the tires and check the collars on the coils.

How low are you from the ground to the top of fender? I've been reading for AWD that 25" is a good number to go by, going lower can damage your cv boot.

you might be able to get away with 24' or 24 1/2 as i have gotten away with that all summer...just be sure to check the cv boot every now and then (way to check is i.e., if you have a garage or a parking spot before you drive off in the morning check if there is any wet spots near the 4 wheels, should be a greasy feel liquid)

Thanks for the tip. It scared me reading about leaked cv boots.

Just in case some of you guys were wondering, I had to pull out a tape measure to get an visual of what 25" clearance is. I am assuming an 18" f-sport wheel with 225/40/18 tires, so here are my approximations as denoted with the "~"

18" rim + ~40mm of tire above and below the rim (varies depends on the tire model) = ~25"

25" + 4-5 finger gap = ~28-29 inches.

This allows the user to adjust the height around to around 3-4 inches and get very close to 1 finger or less gap without any CV boot issues.

Please correct me if I'm wrong!

Still trucking along nicely. Have had these on and after a bit of settling I am a little under a 2 finger gap. Looking for some 18s. So might adjust the height again. I dont like to ride too low here in ny with all the pot holes. Only issue is the same clunk on cold days down steep driveways. My fsports on my old 250 did the same thing. I'm not too worried since the ride quality has not suffered.

Thanks for the post OP. I've had my 07 awd 2IS for about two weeks now and have been researching suspension as much as possible. I do worry about the vibrations because I don't want to f anything up. After reading your post I think I'm going to go with the BCs and just not drop it too low as in past 24.5 or so. I'll make sure to upload some pics and an update on how they run once I start my new job and get some bucks to put into the car. Thanks again!

That was after the install. You could do 19s but you may need to tweak the ride height. Was able to switch to the 18s with no issues. The ride quality did suffer over time and was really disappointed with under 10k too. I got spoiled with my tanabes on my rsx. Even the stocks with f sport springs rode better.
