Damn Brian, you resorted to quoting yourself now?

I'm ordering this Ultra Bar for my GS430, if it fit the 430, it should fit the 400, heck i might buy two since they're cheap one piece Steel bars.. I'll update with pics as soon as I get the bar on my GS..

yeah notice i NEVER got a response don and you know me, always a naysayer. i wanted picture proof, oh well i let that go ALONG time ago?

also don....just cause it fits the GS430 DOESNT mean it will clear the GS400 with no problems but since you actually have both i will trust you to try it on both. i would order ONE first and see if it clears both....ALSO remember your motor will flex when you push the gas (depending on the condition of your motot mounts it will move more or less) so make sure you have enough room to clear this also. when i mounted my CF cover i did the finger test for for it which i will do for my RMM bar when i get it

I'd like to buy a new strut bar.....problem is getting one that clears my turbo

they really don't do much anyways. I lol when I see guys running 8/6k springs and then want to stiffen up their chassis

My turbo sits up pretty high and the one peice TRD bar clears it. How much higher than the plug cover does your turbo sit?

not sure, haven't measured. I have the ultra racing one right now. TRD is a no for me, it blocks off my dial to adjust rebound on my coilover

IMO RMM is the best looking and you do notice a difference, sad part is you
would have to buy it from the classifieds.

For stabilizer bars, TRD blue are worth every penny...

Brian...fyi...the GS400 engine sits in the engine bay very low...lower than the GS300 (98-00) and (01-05), and the GS430. I tested it myself. If it fits the GS300 w/ engine cover, then it will fit the GS400 w/ engine cover.

The more difficult question is if fits the GS430 w/ engine cover because not only does the GS430 engine sits high, but also wide with engine cover.

So with that being said, if it fits the GS430 w engine cover, it should fit all GS300 and GS400 w engine cover.

oops pete, i thought it was the other way around. i thought the gs400 sat higher than the gs430/gs300
