Default steering wheel doesn't return to center position?

So here's my problem.. when I drive on the freeway my car tend to go left a bit and when I make a left turn it doesn't return to the centered position. It would just stay left. Should I take it to the dealer? My car is a 2010'. you guys think the dealer will charge me if they don't find the problem?

Welcome to owning a 2 IS. It's just how it is. I've had 3 2IS's and all are the same.

What? So if you're parked with wheels pointed perfectly straight ahead your steering wheel will not be at a perfect 12 o'clock position?

Yep, and the thread title too : "steering wheel doesn't return to center position". OP didn't hardly detail to the extent his issues were...whether it be an alignment issue or a steering rack issue. Perhaps he has an aftermaket steering wheel that he incorrectly installed, thus causing the "centering" issue. Man, just trying to internet-diagonis a problem...think outside the box.

While you had those alignments done did you explain the issue you were having with the car to them? Did they advise you on anything you should look for?

Yes. So I did some more test driving U-turns and turns. My final conclusion is.. the car is fine. Is just doesn't come back with more force as I've come accustomed to. This is my first Electronic Power Steering System(EPS) btw. So that may be why I'm questioning it. I'm just gonna leave it at that

The electric PS does have a lighter rack feel to it when compared to a hydro rack. Hopefully the car is fine...GL!
