I think I may have misunderstood some requests here as well. When you are saying "solid" are you implying a 1-piece rotor or no slots or C/D?

so im assuming if it has a great cooling capacity it is a much thicker rotor? what thickness? compared to a stock rotor?

but basically the jist of it is that is has the same stopping power just better heat dissipation?

The thickness will be the same so the major difference will be in the metallurgy of the rotor, the vane pattern/ increase heat capacity, and the weight which should net a noticable performance gain. Remember that stopping power is integrated over time. So if you can stop great 3x in a row but the 4th stop your brakes do not work because they got too hot, that is not the same. By increasing the thermal capacity of the braking system, you get longer use of the brakes, so its a win-win. The Iron alloy also provides a better coefficient of friction that stock which will mean more initial bite.

As an aside, in addition to the stock 2-peice rotors, we are also developing an IS-F sized BBK, including the rears.

On the IS250 AWD application, can someone post the protrusion of the front axle through the hub?

Mike

Hey mike, when you said you guys were developing an IS-F sized BBK, would that be for ISX50 fitment or strictly for IS-F guys?

Also, the rear LCA's just came in and they are gorgeous!

Thango,
we are going to develop and IS-F sized kit that will fit accross all isX50 platforms. Based on the other thread showing the AWD knuckle I think we might have the clearance with the 2-P rotor but I am not sure yet.

Glad you are liking the arms, we take great pride in making the best possible products we can
