Default Tein EDFC Install

Hi all,
Finally got around to installing my EDFC in a more permanent location.
It was way more work than installing the coil overs!
I had to modify the ashtray quite a bit and then the center console cover as well.
I wanted to keep it stealthy (close the ashtray to hide) but be able to easily use it. The glovebox was out for the last reason (my arms are not THAT long).

Now I just need to find a location for the sub control (you can see it on the bottom of the second picture between the seat and the center console).

Any suggestions for location?

Would the coin holder next to the mirror adjustment buttons work?

I recently saw a post about someone using the coin holder by the steering wheel. To mount air ride controls. I ll look for it again and I'll post the link.

Should have mentioned that I have switched for the front parking sensors and for the Ipod connection there.

Thanks though.

Wouldn't the Bass **** fit right above the edfc controller and the top of ashtray? Seems like it would fit and you would still be able to close the ashtray.

First thing I tried. The EDFC is long, about 4" so it has to be angled to fit inside the ashtray and still have it be able to close. The bass **** is about 2" deep so no, it doesn't fit.

I could put it in the center console but I did not want to drill a hole in the console and having the lid on makes it somewhat difficult to get to while driving.

Yeah, I know, I'm high maintenance. :-)

Nice install. I wanted to be able to "hide" it though. Everything is out on the Sups but they get garaged. Too many window breakers in Cal, LOL.
