After swapping my Megan Street Coilovers for Tein Basics I would recommend Tein over the Megan.

The build quality of Tein just seems much better over all. Even though the Tein are cheaper in price $750 for Tein and $850 for Megan.

If I was to go back I should have just got the Tein SuperStreet for the extra money.

The only thing that bothers me about tein coilovers is the way you adjust the height. Megans have a separate body to lower coils. Where as tein you have to adjust where the preload is at leaving nearly any room for shock travel.

IMO, Megans are good if you're not looking to slam your car. If you are looking to get low, then they feel too soft.

Are they really that bad?

is it because you can't adjust the dampening?
