EXPERTS HELP!!! 2GS Tire and wheel fittment question
Please bear with me as this is my first post even though I've been reading on the site for a few years now.
I have a 2001 gs430 and I recently bought some used axis shine 19x8.5 +15 (F) and 19x9.5 +20 (R). I know the recommended offset for the GS is +35-45 or so but it was a deal I could not pass up at the time...or so I believed...jury is still out.
I'm trying to go ATLEAST flush with the offsets. The wheels came with 235/35 (F) and 265/30 (R) Toyo Proxes 4 which are garbage because the seller had and IS and did not do his math on the fitment with his coilovers.
I really liked the fitment of the rear tire size but the front does not provide enough meat on the tire to protect the lip of the front wheels (in my opinion). I am fishing for tire fitment feedback on what size to get on the front and if the rear size needs a different size as well.
Also with the offsets being what they are, am I going to need spacers on the front and back and will not having spacers/ or having them with these wheels cause unnecessary strain on my suspension and bushings?
Thanks ahead of time for the feedback!
Please help a newb out!

A wheel with an offset of 15 will sit out further than a wheel with an offset of 35. I used to have a 9.5 wheel in the back with a 33mm offset and it was bearly inside the wheel well. I am surprised you can fit a 9.5 inch wheel with a 20mm offset. I don't think you would need spacers with this set up because I'm not sure if they will fit (without fender work). Of course you should get a second opinion since I only have experience with conservative fitments.
