Good to know. So that would run from the ABS going to all the breaks right? That's the thin steel piping right?

The SS lines would only go from the caliper to the hard-line in the wheel well and vice versa. If you wanted to you could replace the lines clear up to the ABS unit and master for style points and the wow factor , but theres clearly no need do to the fact that they are already a hard-line hence no expansion.

I have a 92 sc300 with ls400 brakes.I am very happy with how they perform and look.for the price you can not beat it.I think it is a big difference from the stock sc300 brakes to the ls400 so if you arent putting out huge hp numbers and you dont want to spend a ton of money i would get the ls400 brakes

These are the lines I used:

When I ordered them, I asked for a red sheathing so they would match my suspension components. I also replaced the control arm busings.

You're in TT brake territory with that money.

WOW! Where did you buy all your parts from? I bought the stoptech rotors F-LS400/R-SC400, SS brake lines F/R-SC400, LS calipers, paint, and decals, the OEM pads and rebuilt the calipers for a little less than half of that. The only thing that wasn't new were the calipers, but when I finished them they were better than new take a look at post #7. I dont know maybe I just stumbled upon some good deals at the right time. I just try to look at all my options before I make any impulse buying decisions.

What's the breakdown for the swap?

LS400 Calipers (what year) Front and Rear calipers both work?
LS400 lines, Rotors? Can GS stock lines be reused?

Thanks!
