Default Getting ready to drop the GS on BC's... advice?

Just like the title says, this will be my first major mod to my GS and I want to make sure everything goes smoothly and done the right way. My car has 112,xxx miles on it, ball joints never replaced to my knowledge but they do check out fine. No clunking, knocking or any other diagnostic sounds come from it. The control arm bushings are cracked. (picture below). Besides getting new tires and alignment, should I go ahead and replace the two (ball joints and bushings) as a preventative maintenance? I'm still debating on the Daizen bushings and I know the topic about these bushings are all over the the board and many pros and cons to it, but for someone who doesn't plan to ride "Hellaflush" just more for the "conservative" look (zero gap) is it worth it besides saving almost $100? My current rims are the OEM GS430 17's. I do have future plans on getting wheel spacers (next month) and upgrading the shoes to 19's but that's not til next tax season.

Thanks for the advice...
