Default UPS Dropped off some Goodies!

Friday I came home from work and was happy to see some of my suspension parts were delivered.

Supra LCA's and outer tie rod ends, courtesy of Carson Toyota. This is the first time I've purchased from them and was very pleased with their service and quick shipping. I'm still waiting on my TC Sportline Supra UCA's to come in from ebay, then it will be off to the shop to get everything put on and an alignment. Stay tuned!

1. Cheaper
2. Stiffer bushings
3. They come with new ball joints, SC LCA's don't

The uppers I bought are also made for Supras but they are aftermarket and are camber adjustable.

Lower control arms for the Lexus SC do come with new ball joints.

I was under the impression you had to order ball joints separately from the control arms if you got SC LCA's. Oh well, my bad...

They are for a MKIV Supra (93-98). Here is the link for Carson Toyota's online catalog:

Also 93-96 mk4 supra control arms are about half the price of SC control arms. The 97-98 supra arms are more expensive but made of aluminum so it's lighter.

Yeah I went with 95s, I figured I might as well get the same year as my car. And my uppers came in today! I'm dropping her off at the shop on Thursday and hopefully my bumpsteer and front end vibration problems will be solved!

Well I got her home from the shop yesterday and there is very noticable improvement. The front end is more stable, my steering wheel does not move when I hit a bump. However, I have noticed the front end squeaks when I am stopped and turn my steering wheel, also when I get in and out of the car I can here the squeak. And it also vibrates a little when I'm stopped and I turn the wheel to the left, I know there is another thread about this and people have a similar problem. It did not do any of these things prior to having the new parts installed. My front wheels definately have more positive camber now. I washed her today and took some pics, enjoy!

Lexus runs in the family, you can see my Dad's ES300 in the garage.

More positive now, and I think the front end raised up a little with the new control arms. I'm going to adjust the coils next time I've got the wheels off.

Some jerk at my work did this to my passenger fog light one day. They didn't even leave a note or anything, it's on my to-do list.

looking good man, I love when UPS stops at my house...it's always something good, lol. On a side note I'm adding my own special touch to my LCAs. For the most part my LCAs are decent outside of worn bushings...no biggie, I'm doing some custom paint/coating to them...then I'll replace the bushings, and continue the install. More to follow...
