F-Sport springs out, BC Coilovers in FTW
I've had the F-Sport springs with OEM shocks on my IS350 for about 2 years now. Ever since I've put them on, their performance left me unsatisfied. The car doesnt feel planted on the road and the car wobbles like crazy over barely uneven terrain. Not to add my car's stance just never looked right. It's an uneven drop, passenger side is about 0.5 inches higher than the driver side. Always wished the front was also a tad bit lower to match the back. Couple of weeks ago, I ordered a set of BC Rac.ing Coilovers from CircuitMS, one of the vendors on this site. They were helpful in answering my questions since these were going to be the first set of coilovers I will put into my car. All my previous cars ran aftermarket springs/shocks combo. For the BC Racing Coilovers, I chose to get rubber mounts with the OTS spring rate (F 10k, R 8K). They came in a little over a week. Also got the optional trunk extenders to access the shock damping adjusters with the trunk lining in place.

I installed them yesterday, couldn't be easier since coilovers replaces the F-Sport/shock combo assembly. To top it off, the BC coilovers is COMPLETE, meaning I didn't have to use any parts (*ahem* top mounts) off my OEM assembly. No spring compressor needed for people putting these in on a stock setup. I needed the spring compressor to swap out the F-Sport springs with my OEM springs. I haven't installed the trunk extenders yet, will have to wait another time. Overall, these ride damn smooth. It's handles road irregularities like a champ without the car wobbling all over the place. Going over bumps, it takes it without sounding like my car bottomed out. I now know why people swear by coilovers over springs. I personally will never buy lowering springs again after experiencing a coilovers setup. Its day and night difference. I never thought about the F-Sport shocks, and yes my car will most likely handle better. But add that cost with the price of the F-Sport springs, you got enough to buy these coilovers. Not to add, the car will still look uneven.
Top two pics: F-Sport/OEM shock combo
Bottom pic: BC Racing coilovers (crappy cell pic, will get better pics later)

You mean from fender to the edge of the rim? My height isnt perfectly even yet.. i still have to play with it. Rubs in the front, I bent the corner of the fender-bumper bracket upwards and heat gunned some parts of the liner. Rubs a lot less. Will probably have to heat gun some more..

I ordered mines on the 11th. It came on the 21st, so it was actually 10th days till i received it. I was wondering if it was shipped directly from BC because the address label reads BC instead of CircuitMS. Did you get custom spring rate?
