Default Broken Daizen Caster Bushin ?!?!?

was test fitting wheels to check for ls400 bbk fitment....noticed this wonderful sight...

Im wondering if its just a casting line that let go, or if its cracked all the way through....if it is, I'll be going back with Lexus bushings and filling them with some lower durometer urethane than the Daizens

One of the reasons why I got rid of my Daizen bushings... it just doesn't handle lowered cars that well. There is no degree of freedom in the vertical direction so when you're going down the road and your suspension is in motion, you're piercing the bushing's lip. I want to even say Daizen modeled the bushings for stock suspension. The OEM rubber bushings allows for more vertical deflection.

They're okay for very mild drops, but when you're slammed, they take a beating, especially around the lip area. Everyone go bug FIGS for his caster arms. They're the ones you want if you are slammed.

NF's provide the most modest drop out there and his broke. Would you guys recommend I get these, I have Eibach Springs. I don't feel like spending money on bushings that are going to break though.

I have that same problem, and installed mine on nov/2010. It's now march/2011, and I have that problem. I'm looking for a new set of bushings that would actually do the job. I'm not stock sus, and the bushings are pretty worn. I took into considerations of the roads in ny, and ny weather. But i thought it could have lasted longer. Is there a better brand of buying?

Has anyone tried the Carson Camber Bushings? I'm guessing since they are about the same as the Daizen's they would end up doing the same thing?
