Default For those of you with Megan Coilovers

They come stock with a 12kg spring in the rear....while if you are looking to go "road racing" that might be more ideal, but let's face it.....not too many SCs on the race track.

They do sell softer springs and after going to the 1/4 mile track a few times with the 12kg in the rear, I realized that was just hopeless. The car will NOT squat out the hole and has traction problems from a roll as well due to poor weight transfer.

I swapped out the rears last week to the 10kg units and man does the car ride A LOT nicer. These are luxury type cruisers, why destroy that? I haven't had a chance to go to the track yet as my clutch is now toast . I'm not expecting HKS DRAG coilover type performance, but it definitely is better than how they spec them from the factory.

Seems like he went with the Megan Street Series not the LP aka Luxury model. But then again I think the luxury model has the stiffer spring rates while the basic street series is softer.

I have them on mine-definatly does not ride like when I had stock TT struts and eibach
springs-that rode like stock-but the coilovers i noticed a huge increase in stability-I also
had good traction with them.

I've got the Street LP coilovers. I didn't think Megan made any other coilovers besides those?

I have the LP....I meant 8kg, not 10kg.

I know with 500+whp with a 305/30/19 rear summer tire I have NO traction in 2nd gear most of the time and I have videos of the car leaving off the line and it doesn't squat. Just bounces like a honda.
