Default Upgrading steering ECU questions

Hi all,

Does upgrading the steering ECU void the warranty?

Also, what is the benefit of upgrading the steering ECU, exactly? I've heard that driving on the highway, it makes the steering wheel stiffer. Thanks!

yes that's what it does, tighten up the steering wheel, so you have better control.

i don't think any l-tuned parts will void warranty

You can't void a whole car warranty by doing anything. Car dealers can choose to not honor the warranty if any mod caused what you want covered under warranty, whether L-Tuned (which is Lexus) or K-Mart.

So install the ECU right (it's trivial, even klutz here could do it) and you have no problems.
