2 lowering questions??

2 lowering questions??
first off i have looked and looked and i havent got what i needed….
1. i have a set of 20" rims can i lower it 1"-1.5 with out the tuck and rubbing???
2. can it be lowered 1-1.5 with out it becoming stiff, with out coil overs????
thanks for all your help and advice….

sorry….. two fold i guess… if the answer is yes then what do i need to lower it a little with out losing ride???? 20x8.5 all 4. not sure of offset bought for this car, had them on and got the shake and now im trying to fix the shake then lower a little.. thanks

If you want to lower without losing your current ride quality...RCAs are the way to go....complete sets run for less than $500 and certainly an easy DIY project. Do a search for them...lots of info and pics.
The other option is drop springs and shocks (optional), but that will change ride quality. Drop springs runs less than $300 and optional shocks about $400, then installation an extra $250-$400.
As for the shakes, check the wheels (esp the inner barrel) for any dents. The other item to check is the lower ball joint.
