Question Springs...yes i said Springs!

whats up guys, i'm in the market for some springs/struts. What's a good combo for a good ride but a good stance ? I've searched it for a while..and i still am on oem struts...should i replace those when i'm going for lowering springs ?

I just bought TEIN H.TECH LOWERING SPRINGS (Gold). You should try these springs.

If you want proper ride, its better to get a good strut/spring combo. I dont know what the limit is when lowering on stock struts (or those of the like) but if you go too low on the 'tall' strut, you can lose damping factor and have a horrible ride do to the less travel. Thats the whole reason for coilovers and their shorter strut, it gives more travel for "pogo" if you would.

Oh and might I add... I think everyone has ran their stock struts (just like 99% of people with cars who drop their cars with springs) but IIRC it also increases the chances of blowing the strut do to the constant compression.

i also used the stock shocks with my DF210 for almost two years. ride was good,
but once i added RCA's, the ride became very horrible. now i have Bilsteins sports, the ride is very confortable and smooth.

I'd get new shocks unless you don't mind bouncing a lot.
