yes, this is so do-able w/ $400 budget, u just need to scoop more $$ for the installation though.

Don't forget installation cost...it'll run you an extra few hundred bucks.

Some places charge about the same for installation. If not, maybe another $50 more from what I've seen

or you can get a set of older but fully functional Bilsteins wearing some fine Tannabe NF210s for $375...

yeah i have been looking at both rca's and springs.. some eibach springs will cost me about 260 shipped but then i have to install them which i dont have the special tool for,,, and i looked at some rca's they loook kinda hard to install saw a sage set for front and rear at craigslist for 400 but i think they are sold now.. BUT im trying to keep the stock 17's and i wonder if the drop will be noticable enough..even with the 17's i know the eibachs drop it at least an inch how much would the rca's drop the car by..?

RCA will drop however thick they are. Some of the ones on the market are 30-38mm thick, so a little over an inch.

RCAs as much easier to install than springs/shocks. The fronts will take you less than 15 minutes per corner. The rear is trickier, but still easy.
