Little background.
Bought the 98 GS4 from a list member in May of 07 w/90k miles. SInce then have added 82k mostly city driving. Front end squeaked from the day i picked it up. Previous owner had installed the Daizen set on UCA, LCA and trailing arms. Stock sway bushings.
1.5 years ago I took off the sway bushings and greased them up and re-installed. @140k then. Still had squeak but not as loud.
Last year at 155k I had new struts(all 4), Lower ball joints and tie rods installed. Still had squeak.
two weeks ago I replaced the UCA and trailing arms. Upper Balljoints were bad. Replaced with stock units. Squeaked quieted down quite a bit but was still there.
today I installed new sway bushings. Squeak finally gone.

Only thing I haven't replaced is the LCA and strut towers. If squeak stays away I'm not going to change anything. If it comes back I'm going to go ahead and do both.
Advice to others:
Replace everything rather than continually doing the work over and over again. Cost more up front but is cheaper in the long run unless you do it yourself.

In my case I don't believe it was one item that caused the squeak, rather it was all the above to some point.

Now I'm going ot go out and truly enjoy driving my car.
