Default Who Makes Front Rotor?

I have a several vib when I brake from 80 - 50.. It shake so bad that I have two shop told me that my front rotor is need to reblanced or replace. One shop told me that its not in the prefect round shape.

I have the TRD Sloted for only 4 month.. no track usage at all.. just reg street drive..

Help.. Can those TRD GAS Slotted be resurface? One shop told me because they are slotted, he can' resurfacd them.

I got them from Steve.. I want to replace them to get rid of the shake..

Does TRD stuff purchased from Steve have warrenty?

Typically warping of rotors is caused by driver braking behaviour. Aggresive braking can and well accellerate pad wear and promote warping.

Although crossed drilled and/or slotted rotors are supposed to dissapate heat and water more effectively those rotors can be more prone to premature failure due to their structural anomalies (ie. hairline cracks, etc).

Certainly rotor manufacturing and/or materials can be at fault as well. I don't know what warranty TRD offers on brake componets but I'd be surprised if they're very liberal.

Maybe Steve Ganz can do something.

Good luck.

Will SupraTT's Disc fit into GS? I believe they are 13 Inch. The STock GS once are smaller..?...11"?

Will they fit into stock 17" Rim? Are they able to handle the abuse of the TRD Pad?

One other thing to keep in mind...

When the new rotors are put on, make sure the shop hand torques them (to 80 pounds I think) and try not to hit the brakes hard enough to turn on the ABS on for the first few hundred miles so they settle in. It does make a difference IMHO.

Good luck.
