Default people running koni yellows, what springs are you using?

the previous owner of my car installed koni yellows, but im not sure what springs were used. i would like to get more of a drop out of the setup if i could. if i cant get a decent dop by adding springs or maybe adjusting the height with the konis ill just spring for some coilovers. if im not mistake you can only adjust the firmness and softness with these shocks right? heres a few pics to try and aid in anyone recognizing what springs were used.

i am running koni yellows for a supra with swift springs. i love my drop but im not sure exactly how much it is.

you can adjust the rebound on those, but if i recall you have to remove them to do so.

Swift springs lower the Supra by 1.2/0.8, although the springs above don't look like Swift to me.

Why not just clean the springs and look for the label?

I don't know how many variations of Koni shocks are available for the Supra, but I do know the current ones have 3 settings for the perches. The perches are spaced about 12mm apart form one another.

your drop looks great and is about where id like to be.

and yes i think you do have to remove them for adjustment.

this is how the car currently sits. the rear is ok but the front seems to be up a bit more based on the wheel well gap

yeah i really needed to take the wheels off to get better pics but was kinda in a hurry. if the perches are 12mm apart does that mean i would need to go "softer" to make it lower?

No, the perches only affects ride height. The rebound damper is adjusted separately.

That looks very similar to my stock Supra TT springs and shocks stance.

ok i think i get what you guys are saying now. you can move the snap ring that the perches rest on to adjust height.

Not sure if you are talking about mine or not, but I know my springs are Swifts. The springs are red, so OP's most likely aren't made by Swift. In fact I would guess they are stock supra springs.

Here's another shot of my drop, if it helps

That sounds about right. Once removed you can take that small ring off and lower it to a different perch.

Yea I was talking about the OP since there were only two pictures above my post

How do you like your swift springs? I'm running them on my coilovers and they feel fantastic! Much better than the stock springs that came with the set!

id like to be about about where yours is. im going to switch the perches to the lower position and see how i like it and if i want a little more ill get a set of springs.
