Default bcr coilovers drop with pics

Got my bc racing coilovers installed the other day and i thought id share some pics. A big thanks to Circuit Motorsports, a vendor here, for helping me pick the perfect set up for me and getting me a great deal on these coilovers. the first i said after getting in the car after the install was "holyy ****tt." The car actually feels in control now. its not bouncy like a boat anymore. The steering feels tighter and isnt loose anymore. even on the freeway the handling is like a million times better than stock. My only problem now is that the fronts rub alot (see pics below of rubbing damage). I have to go like <15mph just to get up a freeway ram without rubbing lol. so my question is how do i fix that. Would rolling the fenders be the best way to go or shaving??? i had the rears shaved already. oh yea i also got a pioneer in dash installed.

Nice!!
Mines rubs only on the right side too. Down size the tire size to 235s instead. Either stiffen it up or raise it up.

Well, you can either raise it some, or work around it: definitely downsize the tire a lil bit. Increase the coilovers stiffness. I used an exacto knife to cut a few sections out of the fender liner in the front. Then i took a mag-lite to the fender lip and gently rolled it up.

No, the fronts can go a little bit lower and backs can go more

What spring rate did you get? Full stiffness on the damper won't do anything since it's not suppose to affect compression. If you want to keep it at this height, get stiffer springs, smaller tires, or even a set of sway bars.

10/8.. yeah i will do all that in the near future but for now i think a little fender rolling should solve the problem

THE REASON why you rub on the right is due to how the roads and driveways are. japanese people rub on the left. its because of the driveways.
