will 01 IS300 coilovers fit on 98 GS300?

The rear suspension on the IS300 has a fork instead of a bushing. The front suspension looks about the same and the rear top hats look like they would fit. Changing out the bottom mount to the 2GS one would probably make them work.

Front: Top hat on IS300 bolts are closer and GS are wider. Lower bolt on IS300 is smaller compare to the GS.

Rear: fits without a problem.

If you run across SC430 coilover those will fit the GS. They just have a shorter shocks and a few hundred pounds heavier then the GS.


I have tried to test fit IS300 shocks and springs on the GS as I had a set laying around.
