I was looking for gas not spring rate but my email was titled GS400 rebuild and I was told 7kg as well. This equates to just under 100psi and is what I'm going with tomorrow.
Yes, there is oil inside of the shock, but the bottom of the shock has a valve for nitrogen to adjust the the pressure for firmness or softess. So it uses both in different chambers.
well I dont know what kg to air pressure is but in terms of weight and not to revive and old thread this is just fyi for any one researching 9kg = 19.8lbs in weight conversion factor.
There is no such thing as a conversion from spring rate to pressure in nitrogen. They filled the pressure of the nitrogen independent of the spring rate.

I have toms advox coilovers for my altezza and they have started banging when driving is this a matter of changing the valves and topping up the gas or is there a bigger problem ?
Thanks
