yes it was your thread! i remember now. ha thanks very much for chiming in! that makes me confident then, cause if you think about it why would a spring designed for a supra fit one car but not another...so it looks like i'll be making my purchase!

He has the same springs i purchased and he tried and they didnt work because the diameter of the springs at the bottom gets to small and wont go any further down the shock to where it should be seated. I dont know how tight it is but im sure i can make them fit!

As for putting Supra springs on an SC shock, like zhillz said, it didn't work for me. The Falken spring sat on the shock tube instead of on the perch. Might be different for the B&G springs. Lots of people are using Supra TT Eibach with Supra shocks so I would assume those springs won't fit on the SC shocks.

Supra springs on SC shocks is not a good idea, and sounds to me like someone got lied to..
Why would a spring manufacturer make their springs for a supra with a different spring base than every other manufacturer?? That would make them NOT for a Supra.
IF your going to go with shocks/springs, do it right. Supra springs are meant for Supra shocks, not OEM SC Shocks. Zach your car looks great, but I honestly think someone lied to you cause there is no way that a spring that was designed for the MK4 Supra will sit correctly on the stock SC shock spring perch. Your springs are for an SC, otherwise they wouldnt work at all.
So with that being said, Boston if you want to take the risk of ordering these springs and use them on your OEM shocks (which isnt a good idea anyway cause they werent meant for that and will fail quickly) be my guest, but I have a very strong feeling that you will be ordering Supra shocks in the very near future.

^ Your simply wrong.
The only thing that matters and makes a difference is spring rate or if its progressive/linear.
The b&g ones are obviously a different size coil then most other supra ones the designers probably did this on purpose to fit the sc chassis instead of making another spring with a small base.
If the sprign was to LARGE this could make a problem if it slid of the perch. Being to small just makes it more secure on the tube/perch.

you missed my point from the start obviously cause I said nothing about springs rates..what I am saying, and Ill keep it as simple as possible for you to understand, is this:
If the springs fit your SC shocks, then there is a 99% chance they are SC springs..in other words, not Supra springs as advertised..Supra springs WILL NOT FIT SC shocks due to the fact that they WILL NOT FIT in the spring perch not only because of size, the coil seat on the spring itself is different..now was that clear enough, or do we need to go old school with some crayons and flash cards??
If his "Supra" shocks fit, good, he got lied to and got lucky with it..but dont be giving people incorrect information that could ruin their vehicle and cost lives by telling them some stupid noon-BS like Supra springs fit SC shocks just fine..
Bottom line is, if you want Supra springs, get the shocks that were designed to fit them properly..be it OEM or aftermarket..but aftermarket is ideal cause OEM shocks were never intended for a lowering stance and they will wear/fail quicker.

Break those crayons out and see if you can stay in the lines, or maybe try to not be a ****?
So how do you think the springs 'seat differently'. There is a lip the spring sets on the bottom of the shock. the top doesnt have this. The spring SPINS so you can make it sit here.
By the way, b&g doesnt have Lexus Sc3/4 listed on their site so im assuming they dont make them, so they are deffinitly Supra springs. If you feel otherwise we can get a part number from the OP.
From intellexual.net
Its only the placement of the perch on the shock that is different and obviosuly this is questionable.

Meaning if you purchase Eibach Supra Prokits, you must also purchase Supra-compatible strut shocks, because the rear strut perch on the Supra sets lower than the rear strut perch on the SC. If you attempt a Lexus shock with a Supra spring, you will actually lift the rear end of the car higher than stock. The front struts are the same on both cars however.

ok, believe what you want..
but for now, quit posting stuff that isnt true. I have had the option to compare the suspension parts side by side, and there is more than just a height difference in the perch..
im done arguing with ignorance..you see 1 thread about someone with "Supra" springs on SC struts and it makes you the Lexus/Toyota suspension specialist right? Oh and to top that, B&G did make springs for the SC for a short time..just cause you dont see them on one website doesnt mean they dont exist..do some more searching, start with some of the Japanese websites and be sure to look for Soarer suspension parts.

Now your bringing in the soarer parts? Maybe those can have difference in jdm sc vs jdm supra or another combination. Untill you can come up with solid evidence, YOU need to stop spreading lies. BTW How the **** is it a lie if it works for some people?

C'mon guys probably just a misunderstanding or some kind of misleading information. From my experience, the front Supra springs will fit SC shocks as it says on intellexual.net (there can be some misleading info on this site as well). The rear Supra springs do not fit on SC shocks. How do I know? I used to have a set of OEM Supra springs and OEM SC shocks. I have since sold them, but I tried to fit the Supra springs on the SC shocks and only the fronts would fit on the perch.
zhillz, is it possible your SC came with Supra shocks already?
Pretty curious about this.
