Default Change of heart, need Coilover now!

Hi guys, I was asking about the Bilstein Shocks and Eibach Lowering Springs. I have a 2003 GS 300. Now I have a change of heart that I would like to go for a decent set of Coilover about $1200-1500. Anyone have any experience with any set? I wanted to know if Coilover gives any ride comfort? Please recommend, thanks... I will be using the 2006 GS 430 Rims.

I much rather go with the BC Racing 8k/6k spring rate for $900-1000 shipped than pay Tein an insane amount for something that's worth less. Tein CS is limited on lowering flexibility so if you want to be flushed, good luck with that. You'll have to get front and rear RCAs to even get to that point.

Why is Tein CS worthless? I have read that they are decent/good. What would be great for Comfort and Sport, including the ability to lowering the car and adjust the dampering? Please enlighten me. Thanks all.

CS is decent overall but when you factor in the price, you can get a lot more for a lot less. When they use to be priced $1300, they were a damn good deal, but now that they're $1800, it's ridiculously overpriced. You can acheive the same comfort level with more ability to drop lower for a lot less. I have two good friends with CSv1 and CST (v2) and the only reason why they have it was because they were the only nice riding coilovers back then with a decent price tag. Truth be told, they are now wanting to swap out their coils for something else.

What are out there that are comparable to the Tein Comfort Sport? I just had finish reading the Sticky and the CS seems hella good now. Thanks

The sticky thread is outdated.

The BC Racing coilovers with softer spring rates are probably what you're wanting, unless you have the cash to spend on some HKS or JIC coilovers.

What would be the exact choice/model/series from HKS and JIC for 2003 GS 300?

Your definitely better off going straight to coilovers. I'm with BC Racing.
